Welcome to a new Banbury Connections
Founded in 1974, Banbury Connections has grown into a diverse, captivating and complex operational railway featuring 35 stations in an area of 16m x 7.3m. The railway models a cross section of Britain with a focus on the former Great Central and Great Western mainlines. Set in 2012, apart from brief running periods in 1962 mode (actually most of the time with dad around), the railway captures an interesting time in British Railways history with the rapid growth of the passenger railway following privatisation. This is set against the backdrop of multiple private operating companies from the post-sectorisation era.
